I don't understand. In the 30 day period, you can go and exchange it for another one?
I'm beginning to think to do this. I am really disappointed at the 720p video quality EVO produces. I don't know if it's the hdmi cable, my TV or EVO.
This one has the glass screen?
You know what it feels diffrent than the last one, more like the first one I had. Strange...
Do you call Sprint? HTC? Radio Shack (where I bought it)
So returning your Evo for another accomplishes what???

I am not saying that I will. Mine has no defect, so far.
The only thing is the 720p HDMI quality which I don't know if it's the EVO, cable or my TV.
Besides I read that newer EVO's have different glass or more colors?
Take it back to where you got it and tell them what the issue is and that you want to exchange it. They have no choice but to exchange it.
Heck even if you're not having a issue they have to take it back <= 30 days.
What happens after 30 days? If the phone is not working or I begin to have those hardware defects people have now.
What is my option?
In my case, I got one with better build quality. YMMV.

I got the perfect built phone...bought on June 4th...it's been my only one.
2nd going to pick up #3 tomorrow. My wife has a perfect evo lol
I have the light leakage issue, but doesn't really bother me enough to exchange the phone.
1 got on release day with no issues
