Hi. I think the easiest way would be to factory reset your phone and with any luck it replaces the system files you moved. If not reflash your stock firmware. It might also be possible to move the files back from the external sd card with adb but that would be beyond me.

Edit: ignore this. Thought you said your phone wouldn't start but after re-reading it looks like an app :D

How did you move the files? Through a file browser?

As a golden rule don't move anything out of the /android folder as this is where local app data is stored, if you move it to your sd card a lot of apps will fail. Instead go into the phones settings, then apps and see if each app has a move to sd card option.

You can also move all the stuff in your DCIM folder which stores photos and videos from your camera. You should go into the camera options on your phone and choose store to sd card to save valuable space.

Any other folder is open to interpretation as they can be temporary files that apps use or storage for stuff you create within that app. However it really should not affect the app if you move the folders, just content you might have made. (Of course this might not be the case for everything)

As for games / apps that are now not working you will probably need to download the app again to reinstate the data. Although you may get lucky and be able to copy the folders back and have the app work again.

Can you not reverse the process using your app? If you are just worried about pubg, uninstall it and then download it again.

Don't move or mess with files that you don't recognise or don't know their purpose. If you moved some essential files that PUBG needs, then the game probably won't run because it can't find them where it expects them to be. Deleting and reinstalling it will put things back in the correct places and the game should run then.

Files that can usually be safely copied and moved, are music, photos, videos, documents. Apps like media players will usually just re-index themselves, or you might need to go into settings and basically tell the app where the media files are now located.

It's really same with a computer, if you start messing with and moving essential files on that, things are very likely to break.

Sounds like this app is a bit nasty, and shouldn't be used. Suggest you uninstall it.

yeah the only thing you can move to the sd card really is media( photos, music, and videos) i would not touch the rest of those files. you will not have access to the system files anyways as you are not rooted.

messing with app data will create a mess as you are noticing. you can manually move them to the sd card via your phone's settings.

the rest of the stuff are most likely temporary files that gets deleted upon rebooted. if they do get deleted your phone will just create one, once the phone boots up.
