The recent Maps update failed to install, and now the danged app wont even open. Which sucks because I have a family day trip planned for tomorrow and I need that Navigator. There is no cache to clear on the app itself. I'm about to try a dalvik wipe and see if that helps. Anyone got any other ideas?

I'm on Vanilla AOSP 2.04, btw, and haven't flashed any gapps packages or anything. ..

This is one of the great strengths of Titanium Backup. You can have it scheduled to back up apps that have updated and keep x number of backups - making it easy to go back to a prior release.

But, I'm glad to see a Dalvik wipe worked!

Thanks EM. You just saved me the hassle of posting this. I just realized I had the same issue this morning and was about to chuck the damn thing out the window.

    Thanks again.
