Actually, that's not quite correct. Java and flash are two different things made by two different companies. They may sometimes achieve similar goals, but one is not based off of the other. here's a thread that ought to clear that up a bit: http://www.programmersheaven.com/mb...is-java-made-mostly-for-flash-based-programs/ But regardless, it seems java on the ipad is still a feat, and so here's another article related to that goal: iPad Java
