Let me qualify first. It actually doesn't have to be motorola. Just looking for advice.

2 years ago, I moved up, (I am usually late doing this) from an old Galaxy s3, and at $400 my motorola Moto x Pure, (I use it with metro PCS) was the galaxy killer I needed at the time.
It was that or a OnePlus One. ( wanted at least 3GB RAM.
I've been happy with it for the most part, and it was pretty quick and seemed to charge pretty quickly, (turbo charge), but in the past few months, I have noticed a slow down, battery life is way down, (Apps are definitely adding to this) and on occasion the phone just crashes or restarts.

    TIme for an upgrade.

I was thinking of getting the "next thing" from motorola, I think it's the Moto z force, (sounds like a breakaway rebel faction on endor), but I wanted to ask you all here.
For under $500 what is fastest, best multifunction, biggest screen, and most bang for the buck in the market today?
Thanks! These forums saved my life, and have always been a source of great info and opinions.

The Moto X4 is coming, it looks like a decent replacement for the MXP that you have now. The Moto Z's are a step up but the X4 won't break the bank. If you can, wait and see if that's an option.

You could always look at OnePlus again, I think they are up to 5 now. They've always been feature filled unlocked phones with decent spec's.

The OnePlus 5 costs around $700!

The OnePlus 3T from last year is a bit more economical. I plan to get that phone soon.

Got a X4 Android One ordered that should be here by the 18th. Just over$400.00 with tax and shipping. Really love my XPE so high hopes for the X4 especially since updates come straight from Google.

    I see $479.00 for the 64 GB model and $539.00 for 128GB.

Actually it's $539 for the 128GB from OnePlus's own site. Other places may charge more of course.

I stand corrected. Unfortunately, the US version is sold out. And now I know that I'll get ripped off if I ordered from Amazon. Any reputable place that I can go to for purchase?

The 128 GB model was still available yesterday. :( Unless your need is immediate, you should probably wait until they get more in.

    I'll check into that. Thanks.

I hope it'll be soon. I'm fed up with my current device.
