What is T-mobile's best phone?

It does. Some people got lte with the nexus 4 and did speed tests. Look in the other thread about speed tests and you'll see that a couple of people caught lte when they were testing it.

It has LTE but is not licensed for LTE. At one point it did have the LTE driver included, which is how people got the LTE speedtests. They removed LTE in the most recent versions of Android for the Nexus 4, though some people are rooting the phone and including the older radio drivers so LTE will work. The stock Nexus 4 is not going to have LTE.

I understand your point. Even though it is unlicensed for it and people shouldn't be using it, it technically has it but people would just have to jump through some hoops to get it. (root)

Based on the following:
  1. Best battery life
  2. 4.7 in. screen or smaller
  3. Quad core or dual core
  4. 4G LTE of course

Based on these parameters, you're probably going to be interested in the HTC One when it gets launched. Note II, & GS4 are 5 in or larger, and though the Nexus 4 has LTE, it won't have it out of the box. An interesting note is that LG denotes the phone as having LTE on their website if you click under specifications. Only other device if you don't like the HTC One or Nexus 4 would be the iPhone 5.
