Why the sarcasm? I'm new to the forums...I was just wandering because I want to know if I made a good purchase.

The Vibrant is one of the most powerful Androids out today. You made a good purchase. The only thing better is the Epic on Sprint, which is basically a Vibrant with a Keyboard and Front Camera.

I recommend downloading LauncherPro to enhance the experience. And if you're feeling brave, root and apply the lagfix (google it) to make it even faster.

Imo it's a cross between the Captivate (rooted of course) or the Nexus One.

I think he said that because you are going to get defferent answers to your one question.
It really comes down to personal choice.
Even if you find the phone with the fastest processor, biggest screen, etc, many will not like it for several reasons.
Some want a physical keyboard, some want HD, etc...

I would say just about every new android phone that has come out recently (except the Ally ) is pretty amazing.

The best thing is to play with them in the store. Try out keyboards, swype, and software keyboards.

Try out Sense, Touchwiz, Motoblur, try out Vanilla Android. The best thing is to pick based on hardware because if you'r comfortable with rooting you can get pretty much anything.

The must powerful and full featured Android phone to date is the Samsung EPIC 4G. As to what the best one is, who knows.

I have the galaxy s. You made a wise purchase i did a lot of research into phones to make sure i got the best phone i could due to the long contracts.

Galaxy s is one of the best phones out at the minute.

Also as stated above buy launcher pro plus for like 3 dollars and get RyanZA's one click lag fix and root it to make it into a supermegaomfghowquickismyphone bad boy.

Launcherpro plus comes in a free version but you dont get the widgets until you unlock it. Its got a lot of sense ui lookalikey widgets for bookmarks twitter facebook contacts calender messages and there adding more and more all the time its worth the 3 dollars.

Best is always highly subjective no matter what the topic.

To the OP: a popular device (what you're going to get from this thread) is not necessarily the best device for you. If you're going to ask a "best" question then at least be very specific about what you mean by best. What's most important to you? Budget? Other needs/wants?

Dsire? Hmm never heard of this one before. You couldn't have meant Desire, because that would mean you misspelt 30% of your post...
