This icon showed up on the left hand side of a Nexus6 phone and I am not sure what it is (look just above the Google logo). It's a face with 2 eyes, 2 horns and a skinny neck. Is this some type of application? It stayed on the screen for a minute or so and then it disappeared. Thanks! 20160410_000517-1 (1).jpg

If you swipe down from the top, doesn't a more detailed description appear in your notifications?

The icon is "Android Lollipop" why it's there or what it has to do with I have no idea. But that is the accepted icon for lollipop.

Oh wow! It really does resemble a lollipop now that I look closer. Thank you so much. I am not sure why is showed up in the notifications however.

Not today, I noticed this over the weekend. Now that I think about it, I was making a back-up of the Nexus6 via USB when I noticed.

I think it means USB Debugging is activated. Can you check settings, developer options to see if that option is switched on, then plug your phone in to the PC and see if it appears again?
