On my homescreen I have an app or widget that says Google news. I don't use it as have Currents. But I can't find it in my app or widget drawer.

I actually really enjoy that app. Its in your app list, or at least it's in mine. Although, one thing that bugs me is that sometimes the headlines that appear in the widget don't appear inside the news app itself. Which can be annoying if you spot something that interests you and you didn't tap the widget in time before it cycled to the next headline.

Can't find it in the app list. When I go to settings apps. Is it called something different?
It doesn't seem to have as many options as Currents.
Also not sure how much it takes to sync both of them.

Its weird that you don't have it in your app drawer. It doesn't have the customization features that Current does. I like to think Currents is a lot more like Flipboard or Pulse.

News & Weather is very basic.

Very strange - I have it in my App list, under 'N', right next to Navigation.

I kinda like it. Doesn't appear to need location turned on, either.

I love the widget. I've always, at least tried but sometimes failed, to get that onto each and every Android phone Ive owned.
