lol, I couldn't help being a smartass for a moment I am not sure what shade it is though.
lol I'm sure it's just a marketing thing... just the way different car manufacturers have different "blacks" (ie BMW "obsidian" black, Mercedes "Night" black, etc)
It could have to do with the pattern on the back plate.

It's the black you get from a vortex that sucks in everything including light. It's as black as a black hole.
Or it's something the marketing dept cooked up.
