Must LUV that Kernel...
Which kernel are you using?
6649 stock....runs mid 6's +
Quadrant Score of 6741 is stock Kernel, un-rooted phone. 6959 is for stock Kernel, but phone has been rooted. And 8337 score is for rooted phone and Note-2-Core Kernel, CPU overclocked to 1800.
Only got 6232 on my stock.
Is there anything I can do to get a better score that does not involve rooting my phone?
Dumb question, but what are you talking about?
I hate these pissing contests. Makes zero difference in the day to day usability of the phone, so what's the point?
So the number is not directly related to the power the phone puts out towards general operation?
Good lord, people are still using Quadrant? Please, at least use a benchmark with some kind of validity.
The 4th post in this thread demonstrates how unreliable it is. The same setup in the first 2 benchmarks and a 200 point difference in the scores.
Root access by itself doesn't have any system performance impact, so that's just how unreliable quadrant is.
Here you go - ANTUTU.
How do you read the results? what is good?

Interesting. My Verizon GN2 is clocked at 1600 MHz. I didn't realize the different carriers had them at diff clock rates.
I thought all note 2's were at 1600mhz, my unlocked uk version is.
They are, stock. His is overclocked.
