I wanted to do some modifications using the STweaks app, such as the message notification light. However, after downloading the app it says 'sorry, no kernel support!'.

Now when I rooted my phone I thought I had put the Siyah kernel on, but it appears I did not. Here are my current stats, can someone tell me what kernel it is?

If you flashed neat Rom after you rooted as it looks like, then it comes with Philz kernel which isn't compatible with any tweaks, you would need to reflash siyah either in recovery using the zip file or through Odin using the same tar file you used to root :)

I have now re-rooted again and have the Siyah kernel now.

I'm running Neat Rom 4.6, are there any benefits to putting 4.8 on? And if I do, will this change the kernel again?

If it were me, I would flash NEAT ROM LSW and then flash Siyah, CWM .zip, via recovery.

Well I have put Neatrom 4.8 on and then the Siyah kernel.

A couple of things that I'm a little confused about. After I put Neatrom on I checked the kernel as I expected to see the Philz one, but it was the same kernel reference as in my first post. Should this happen? Of course I put Siyah on anyway so I guess it is irrelevant?

Also when I was formatting everything prior to installing the new Neatrom, they only options I get in my Recovery menu are:

Format /cache, system, data, internal & external storage, secondrom cache, data & system.

The Format preload that is meant to be under mounts and storage is missing, so this step has not been done.

Is this something that should be there?
