What kind of speed test results are you guys seeing with the Galaxy S 4G?
With 4G, speed test result varies according to device's location. I believe this is because of lack of t-mobile's tower density. I am in Atlanta area. In my working area, test showed 830 kbps/2890 kbps (D/U) but at my home, it's 7349 kbps/1100 kbps. Even in the same location, the result varies. When I was with AT&T, the speed variance was not this big. In that area, I already miss AT&T.
Here in NYC I've seen 14mbps down 1.7mbps up.
Milan is that on wifi?
Nope. That's my HTC Thunderbolt running on Verizon's LTE network tethered to my MacBook Pro (BootCamp).
There is a little video I took:
YouTube - HTC Thunderbolt Tethered 50mbit Speedtest LTE 4G
Also ran a good seeded torrent to really test it:
Thats some pretty sick speed!!!
