Just curious what launcher people are using with Super Clean froyo? Anyone know if any work better with it than others? Also are people replacing the stock launcher or just running your choice along with it?

    Open Home 6 (new beta)
    ADW EX
    Go Launcher
    Launcher Pro Plus

All work fine so its a matter of which animations you like best lol

I used to use LPP, but tried ADW EX, and WOW I am glad I switched. The launcher is all on user preference. I really like ADW EX, took some tweaking to get it set up though

I've been checking out Open Home 6 and its a pretty sharp launcher now also.

One of the coolest things is that it can use any launchers themes!

Hello all.. excuse my ignorance.. but I have the SC 2.4 installed but have not been able to install any of your suggestions to try out.. What am I doing wrong.. or am I totally misunderstanding the launchers role here??

    THanks for your help

    ADW Ex.

Are they installing from the market when you download?
Hit your home soft key and a menu should come up asking you which launcher if they did install from the market.

Have most of you replaced the stock launcher with your preference so you are only running 1 launcher? Are these steps correct to do this?

    1. in root explorer move the .apk for your preferred launcher form data/apps folder to system/apps

    2. rename the stock launcher from .apk to .old
i have seen some threads other places say rename from .apk to .apk.old does that make a difference?

I've just used home switcher, free app on the market. Or as others have said hit the home key and select "use as default" before you pick your preferred launcher.

I find that Launcher Pro Plus is a more polished and smoother launcher, while ADW EX has more options to customize your phone with, so every once in a while I switch between the two as my default. Right now I'm using the ADW EX launcher. :)

You won't have two Launchers running. The one you have slected as the default is the one that gets loaded and run. If you want to see for yourself change launcher reboot and then check what is running.
