So i just got my replacement Droid and I have to put my SD Card in.

One question I have is can I just completely delete everything off of my SD Card so that I can start new? I would like to start off completely clean and not have all the other stuff on there.

I don't have anything backed up so that doesn't bother me. Is there anything crucial on the SD card that absolutely needs to stay on there?

    Thanks so much!!

No, you are not required to keep anything on there. See below for instructions to format (the phone will put two folders back on your SD card when you format).

Just go to Settings > SD card & phone storage and select "Unmount SD card". After you have done that, Format SD card will be selectable. Go ahead and format the SD card (which erases everything) and it will format, and then create your Lost.dir and one other folder (don't remember the name) in the root of your SD card.
