I am looking to test my app on andriod phones. Is there a site that has the top 20 devices (bases on sales or ad impressions)?

    You can have

    1. Top 20 best spec-ed androids
    2. Top 20 best selling androids today
    3. Top 20 best selling androids of all time
    4. etc..

Subjective as the above poster says.

Not based on sales or ad impressions. It's subjective without any specific criteria but the OP stated specific, measurable criteria.

OP just needs to clarify the criteria. 1 isn't germane as OP never mentioned specs as criteria. Again, it's not subjective as sales and ad impressions are quantifiable. I mean, I could argue what I think sales figures or ad impressions are and that's subjective but the acutal numbers are not.

One thing you could do, if you have time, is to go to our front page, androidforums.com, and drag down the "Android Phones" menu. You'll see every one listed, along with thread and post counts for each device.

Those with huge participation, such as the Droid X, stand out quite a bit as compared to say the Motorola Milestone, etc.

That can give you an idea of sales, along with your own speculation about forum participation in device forums. "Are they here in such great numbers because that device has a lot of problems," etc.
