Hi, I want to buy my first Smartwatch for Christmas and it is very difficult to decide for a model. On the one hand there is the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3: + It is very well made + The control with the ring seems to be nice - Tizen - Old CPU On the other hand we have the Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 3: + Newest available CPU + Wear OS + Long Battery Life - No stainless steel body - Control only via Touchscreen The price of both models is nearly the same here in Germany. I don't need much of the fitness features, I just want to have a Watch with the possibility to get all notifications I want and to answer a message or to answer the phone from time to time. At the moment there are no new Smartwatches with the new 4100 or 4100+ on the horizon? Does anybody knows about new Watches?
i have both samsung gear s2 and the gear s3 active. i love them both. the bezel around the watch is very cool and a convenient way of scrolling through the watch. the battery life is amazing, i can get almost 3 days without having to charge it. it lasts about 2.5 days. i had the lg urbane before and was not as impressed with wear os. sammy's use tizen which is their own os and it is not android completely, but based off of android.
I am very fond of the TicWatch Pro 3 GPS. Fast, responsive and long lasting battery comparatively. I also have the Samsung 3 Titanium edition. It is a very nice watch in appearance and function. It does not keep up with my TicWatch for speed and battery.
You should go for samsung smart watch because samsung smart watch is more reliable than other smart watches. Samsung also offer more function and feature which other companies do not offer and you can find the smart watch online.
I've been mostly happy with my Garmin Vivoactive 3 the good - transflective display easy to read in full sun, battery life 5 to 7 days of typical use (much shorter when GPS tracking), notifications, the not so good - very limited things you can do. You can answer a call but not talk to it. display resolution is low, VERY limited app selection. If you're satisfied with doing just a few things it's fine and I don't think there's much with better battery life, still. Not for you if you want to be able to manage a phone call from your watch, or reply to messages, or see much info on your watch.
The TicWatch, I believe, is currently the only watch running the 4100 processor. While I absolutely love my Montblanc Summit 2, I look forward to a Summit 3 with an upgraded processor. The Samsung Galaxy Watch 4, expected to be announced at the Unpacked event on August 11, will run Wear OS and not Tizen. Since you're talking about Christmas, you will definitely want to wait until around October to see what options are available.
I have a galaxy active 4 classic and although I like the watch it has a shockingly poor battery...even switching everything off and using the alarm only, I get less than 2 days use.
