Do we need to use task killer?

What task killer are you using?

    Thanks for the feedback!

None because it is not necessary.

I have to agree with ylexot, they are not necessary at all. They also do more harm then good from what I recall when I had a Eris & Moto Droid.

Really? the reason I asked is because I notice some screenshoots from other and I don't see any task killer apps running... I am running Taskiller so I am not sure if I should use it or not. I did it with my wife's phone the Sam Fascinate and since then runs faster after she kills some apps and gets memory back.

I see you are running 2.2, they are disabled in 2.2 but autokiller helps set your factor memory manager to you parameters. If you notice you phone is a little try it out and use different settings to get it how you want. My phone was almost useless without a task killer and after 2.2 when it was disabled I had a hard time using my phone until I found autokiller. I'm now running the ApeX Rom so autokiller is no longer necessary to keep my phone from lagging.
