I have an Evo 4G that I "broke" . Somehow during my rooting process it got stuck in a boot loop. I tried everything and could not be fixed. I unrooted and sprint replaced it for free, but what should I do with my old phone?

You can sell it on Craigslist, or keep it as a back up so you don't have to pay for TEP.

I have both Evo / Epic for that purpose. Rather than wasting money on TEP (insurance), I have a second Android phone to play with, and for back up purposes. Money saved from TEP is very well used in this case.

    i dont get it...

you broke it.. but was able to unroot....
got it replaced ... so now all is well.

which phone are you trying to get rid of?? the orginal or the replacement?

if the original?? should it not be sent back to sprint?

I think Amazon is now accepting all your old electronic devices (Android phones included) for store credit. Maybe they'll give you a hundred bucks for it or something.

If Sprint replaced the phone than I'd expect that they'd want the bad phone returned. If they don't want it returned then I'd imagine that there's a possibility that the ESN of the "bad" phone got blacklisted.
