Also do live wallpapers drain your battery?
I suppose they do but cant really confirm it .
My phone has substrate live wallpaper running all the time and I didn't find a change in battery drain from static wallpapers .
It drained in 8 hours before ,it drains out in 8 hours after.
I've got a folder of over 150 pictures that change randomly for my wallpaper.
Live wallpapers use more battery than a static wallpaper but the difference is usually so small (given the LWP doesn't have some programing error causing a memory leak or something) that if you want to use a LWP you shouldn't be deterred.
+1 for substrate it is a great looking LWP
I use the Eclipse live wallpaper available on the market. It looks awesome with a good time and date display.
Super Mario live.
