Oh that brings back memories. I remember my Dad getting this calculator for his HND course, back in the day when home computers were unheard of, and we got excited about playing Pong on a crappy little games console.

One of my older cousins had one of those metal slab things that you changed numbers by pulling down with a stylus. I never could figure that thing out?

I had one of these when I was at school:

I've actually got a slide rule in my office, but I'm too young to actually know how to use it.

My first PDA was one of these:

The Psion 3 keyboard didn't appeal to me, but I nearly bought a 5 several times...

    Why didn't you buy it?

The Serie 5 have real mechanical keyboard, just like a notebook. I like the Serie 5 but I can't justify the spending on it at that time.

An interesting question. Originally because the Palm was small enough to carry in my pocket (I held off those until the V came out), whereas the 5 wasn't really. Later because I already had the Palm and wasn't sure I needed a second device. But the Psion 5 was the smallest device that had a keyboard I could bear to use, so was frequently tempting.

That's the Snake Phone! Everbody had one in Boston. It should qualify as the first gaming phone "But games were so much simpler then, and I was more easily amused back then, When I was young."
    Apologies to The Animal's.

Can't find an exact picture but I had a pocket transistor radio in the 70s. AM/FM.

Mainly I used to listen to football and baseball games that weren't on TV. As well as music.

I'd bring it out w/me if playing outside. One of the best birthday presents I ever got.

I had a little AM only radio, I taped it to the handlebars on my modern stingray bike. I was soooo cool. I found this on the big internet, it's my exact bike:

In my Raliegh Chopper I hung a handle transistor radio from the frame
    Those Stingrays were faster though...
Did you ever get a sissybar @Clementine_3?

The one I had before this one was metallic purple but had no shifter, that had a sissy bar that I added. It got stolen right out of the driveway! Now that I'm thinking about it, I think the one I pictured was my older sister's and I got it after the purple one. She hardly ever rode it so it was 'like new' when I got it. So I was extra cool X's 2!!!

    We are not off topic.

I rocked a generic Radio Shack PDA before Pocket PCs came out.
