    Hey,

what sites are good for showing off full flash?

Wanna show a buddy but dont know what site to goto and dont know which sites would have been played on flash lite as well.

What are some good sites that are only played on full flash?

froyo is out i have it on my Dinc and its not an OTA updated like everyone is talking about OTA means OVER THE AIR (unless im missing something) its just a informal beta they gave to the tech to try out. AND IT WORKS "INCREDIBLEY" ;)

cnet.com has a number of flash videos and adds. That was the first site I tested froyo on.

My guess is the final build will not be on Incs until September. Over a month after Droid 2, X and EVO. Galaxy gets it first, that WILL be a slap in the face of irony.

UFC website is loaded with stuff. If you go there please let me know how it is. With 2.1 it's rather slow.

    RUSHMORE-
I know you've been stuck on the Sept. date from other threads I've read but don't you think that there is a really good chance for the early Aug. release date now that we are seeing multiple HTC sense phones getting this as we speak?

He seems to be stuck on the fact that the leaked ROM has a lot of issues. It's a month old, and is probably very old news to the internal HTC developers. We'll have it pretty soon.

Yes, but the situation is set up with too much irony not to happen:

    1. Incredible was launched before the others
    2. The device is called Incredible....
    3. The emphatic date specific thread here and article at AndroidSPIN, plus others feeding off the same info and treating it as confirmation

Had a later test build leaked, I may be more leaning to August, but seems we are more likely for September, which is still better than "end of year" ;)

Rt on but how different is the Evo build from our phones besides carrier? Wouldn't it be just about identical besides a little change here and there?

It's clear at this point that VZW's QA process is the holdup. Most other HTC devices that are on par with the Inc are getting 2.2. VZW just does more extensive testing, apparently.

Can someone with Froyo try this site out and let me know how it runs?

    2Advanced v5 - Attractor

These guys make some of the top flash sites and would like to know how this runs, if at all, as the entire site is in Flash.

I'm running a desensitized version of sky raider and I checked the site with dolphin browser. It works beautifully in landscape mode

Running the leaked ROM from XDA... it chokes a bit on the opening intro but seems to work flawlessly after that.

My iPhone buddy here at work pulled up homestarrunner on my incredible on launch day and it worked fine with flash lite. It was almost enough to make him want to switch.

    vice's video site.
under froyo, you can finally watch their streamed shows on your incredible.
    that wasn't possible with 2.1.
it takes a few seconds to load up video..but it works
    example: http://i.imgur.com/4zTQE.jpg

    And, also: Vimeo.com
    Finally!
Vimeo now loads up videos via a flash player, similar to youtube.
The same goes for dailymotion.com, which I just inspected.

For games, we are going to need a virtual pad to allow arrows, awsd and space inputs. A lot of games will not be converted and are not practical with touch devices. N900 plays them and has the inputs, but not as fast as even Flash Lite and no 10.1 support.

Whoever makes a virtual pad, similar to the Oid emulators or PSX emu could charge a few dollars and makes some money. Demand would probably be high when 10.1 is common to devices.
