Say I don't do any "backups" of any kind. I simply replace the stock SD card with one that I buy. What exactly would I be losing (in terms of settings, apps, data, anything like that).

I know I would be at least missing the music and photos that I have put on there.

Hi their :)

You will not lose anything such as Settings , apps etc as these are all saved on the internal memory.

But When you get your new card simply copy all the Files the folders {select all -> Copy} off your old memory card to your new one incase theirs any other data.
