I am curious what you think the best keyboard is. I am currently using smart keyboard pro and wondering what else is out there.

I also prefer Smart Keyboard Pro. I also hear good things about Swift Key.

Smart Keyboard Pro definitely. The keys are nice and spaced out.

+1 for the HTC one. I use that and the regular a android keyboard interchangeably

I have tried a bunch of different keyboards and my favorite so far is Better Keyboard. I keep going back to that even tho I really try to like other ones.

I'm finding the HTC IME keyboard on the Fascinate to be terribly sucky.

I switched from the HTC Incredible because it didn't support more than 2 simultaneous touches, which made typing fast darn near impossible.

But it appears that the HTC IME Keyboard running on the Fascinate doesn't support more than 1. That makes typing quickly without missing inputs pretty much impossible.

I'll stick with Smart Keyboard Pro and Swype for now :/

A lesser known, yet great keyborad is Swiftkey. It is very accurate and has a nice added feature - future predictive text. Essentially it predicts your next word based on the current word. Best of all, it learns your language style and new words as you type. This really cuts down on your keystrokes. It also supports multiple languages.

I kept going back and forth between Swype and the stock keyboard. After reading all your comments, I did some additional research and downloaded SwiftKey (still only 99cents until tomorrow), and like it a lot except that you can't change the color and I find the light keyboard a little hard to see. So, I also downloaded Smart Keyboard Pro ($2.71 in US dollars). I really like Smart Keyboard, too, because it is everything I like about the stock, but gives me the symbol keys by long press feature that I like in Swype. Some may say I am crazy for having bought both, but to have these options for under $4 for something that will get used constantly every single day seemed like a great bargain.

Is there such a t thing that has the swype option on a different keyboard? I kind of enjoy swyping from time to time, but I really don't like the swype keyboard. I much prefer the Andriod one, but ofcourse I can't swype on that one.

Is there a keyboard that combines the two?

Is there a way to port smart keyboard pro over to my wifes phone since I purchased it already or will I have to purchase it again?
