Whats the best way to make your own Hero themes?

Can anyone link me to a guide on what programs are needed. Blackberry and Apple (jailbroken) were great fun making themes and changing icons.

Hopefully someone can hook me up with a solution

I don't know what you mean by themes...

You can change the wallpaper... and configure widgets on the home tiles... other than that I don't know what else is configurable.
