I am trying to learn more about my Infuse. Seems like I am always finding new little menus & shortcuts, ect (it's my first Android) So, I thought I'd see what features, ect that you guys have found & really like. Let's hear em, big or small... Thanks!

Do we have to list only one??? Well, it's not so much the Infuse itself, but the Swype keyboard is awesome.

I'll check it out... but you don't have to choose just one!

I love the voice to text...

I'm new to Androids also, how do you use the voice to text?

I agree with Egidio, I really like the Swipe.

Maybe this is stupid but when you say what your favorite feature is can you please explain how to use it?

Oh yes, voice to text is amazing. I've written tweets and emails simply dictating into the phone. You can even say the punctuation marks and the phone knows what you mean!

To use the voice to text, simply tap the microphone on the keyboard & then when prompted, speak the words you want typed & & it does it for you...simple.

How do you activate the swype keyboard?

Wow! I had seen that in my widgets and never explored it to see what it did. That is another reason I like Android OS over the iOS: personalization is incredibly superior!

The coolest feature of this phone is that everything is blazing fast on a large screen. My 2nd generation iPod touch whimpers at all of my Infuse's features.

The only thing that I'm authorized to complain about is its poor OTA firmware update connectivity. If you want to know what I mean do this and follow these steps:

Check your "baseband" version by going to Settings>About phone and scrolling to the bottom. If it says "I997UCKE3," then you don't need to follow these steps.

    1. If your baseband version says "I997UCKD5," then go to Settings>Software Update.
    2. Tap "Check for updates"
    3. Read the scary warning, then tap "OK"
    4. Wait 3-5 minutes while the phone desperately tries to connect to check for updates (if you get the "check again in 24 hours" message, you need to clear the data for Device Management).
    5. Dismiss the message that says "Connection failed. Unable to connect to the AT&T server."

    You're done.

Now, I'm not trying to void anyone of their excitement of this phone. I really love this phone; I really do. And I have to admit that I'm going a little overboard with this minor issue; everything else works flawlessly on the Infuse.

The blazing fast speed of this huge screen phone that displays crisp-clear text outweighs the problem I detailed so fully above. Please do not take that the wrong way. Again, I truly love most everything about this phone. All of its features are so cool.

The best feature is the screen. And its thinness. Idk, I think the fact that it has all of the latest features smart phones have to offer. It doesn't fall short. It could have a little more ram and dual core perhaps, but the ram manager compensates for the lack thereof. Its the same as the evo except much thinner, faster, and better resolution.
