Support What's the exchange replacement, new or refurb?

    For those of you who have been exchanging your defective GNex, what is Verizon giving you as a replacement? Are they giving you another new one out of a box, or are you getting one of those Certified Like New Replacements?

    Within 15 days it would definitely be a new one. (that time period may even be longer)

    Yeah I doubt very much that they would have any refurbs yet ;)

    Well judging by some threads on here there is definitely some people exchanging the phone with a different model. I LOVE mine though!

    Yes there are but there is no way there has been enough time to have the phones sent in refurbished and sent back out to the stores.

    The Verizon store gave me a new one out of the box. Not a refurb.

    What was wrong with your camera?

    Front camera was defective. When you tried to use the front camera it would lock up the camera app. Only way to get rear camera working again was to force stop, clear data and reboot....

    Don't most states require by law that they give you a new replacement within a certain time frame?
