I have noticed my desire get as hot as about 100 degrees Fahrenheit especially when I'm using it in the car attached to my dashboard for gps. Today I was out in the sun and I saw it get as high as about 110 degrees Fahrenheit. Whats the highest yours has gotten? and which temperature is unsafe or where I should start worrying about how high it has gotten?

HTC Safety Information says battery temperature should not rise above 140F

Did your phone not reboot when you were using your GPS and that hot mine did and I sent it for repair it came back after 2 weeks they had just re-installed the software, then they said it was not under guarantee this is a HTC service centre and invoice attached what a load of rubbish HTC support say I should send it back for repair personally I think support should be informing their service centre all of them and state the underlying problem with these phones when using GPS of course I am referring to a Spanish Service centre so not reliable and not happy

Mine often reboot when it gets hot. This happens when using GPS or when charging and surfing the net at the same time.

Not sure of the temp tho as I don't know where that is displayed.

Get's very annoying. Wonder if there is a proper fix for it.

Yes, there is. Send it back for a new motherboard - that's the fix for this known fault.

I've noticed in Summer the phone normally is a lot hotter, average temperature is around 35-40 degrees celcius (Yeah English up in this mother). I think thats 95-105 Degrees Farenheit :)

I'm gonna stick the phone in a sandwich bag in the freezer to see what happens :D
