Hey, you're there by your own choice, right? :) Or did you get stuck there through circumstance, as I did with Dallas? :(

Anyway, we're always open! At least come for a visit. :D

Windy... very windy. Yesterday saw sustained winds in the 35 mph range with gusts over 60 mph. It was a wicked wind from the South. Today the winds are again roaring but this time from the North. Crazy crazy crazy!

It's been very windy all over the place. On the news tonight they showed a big rig getting BLOWN OVER like a toy; I think that was in Amarillo. Looked terrifying.

Are you holding down the fort okay? No damage, I hope.

No problems here at the ranch. I am concerned about my trailer I have parked down by my cabin. 28' Jayco sitting broad side to the wind. However, if it blew over yesterday, the North wind today may have set it back upright. :)

It was 72 and sunny yesterday. It's snowing now (flurries, but still and all).

Nothing but sunshine, lollipops, and rainbows everywhere today and tomorrow.
Sitting under a clear sky with no wind to speak of for a pleasant change. Temps to approach the sixties in the afternoon this weekend. You take the good with the bad and this is definitely the good. I'll take it with a smile. :)

I had my hospital room set at 65° which was perfect. When I left, it was in the '80s outside. I'm sitting here now in my bedroom with the fan running, and contemplating turning the AC on...

I love seeing 60 degrees appreciated. As I've said a million times, 60° here sends my fellow natives scurrying for coats and gloves, and bitching and moaning about how cold it is.

I just laugh...or remind them I've experienced real cold weather--and this ain't it!

I am, eventually. Although June isn't probably the best time to be 'west'. ;)

    That's right, I forgot--you're visiting your brother(?).

June won't be sizzling hot yet; the 100+ temperatures typically run from July through early October, with occasional appearances in, you know, January!

We'll be having our "June Gloom" weather, which is hot but overcast (something to do with onshore ocean breezes, I believe).

Of course, tourists will be out in force. They are year-round, but definitely worse in summer.

Watching that big mess because it may mean snow. Or rain. Or both. A lot of something wet at any rate.
