Mother Nature had to sneak in a little non forecasted rain early AM. It kept the humidity in the 90% range all day. That's the way we like it around here... all boggy, soggy, and flooding etc.

Reminds me of living in Florida, and Texas. I'm glad it's just a bad memory now. I'll take the dry heat of SoCal any day.

@olbriar, baby powder is most useful! I would apply it liberally after attempting to dry off after showering. It made things less sticky...

Rained all friggin' day today. The only mothers who were happy about it had feathers and said "quack" a lot.

Oh, but things are looking up ... it's supposed to rain tomorrow and Tuesday, too! :goofydroid:

I enjoyed stellar weather today for a change. Temps in the low seventies with a gentle breeze and SUN... yes, it still exists.

I enjoyed a dry week only to experience torrential rain this AM. The break in the rains was enjoyable.

On the East Coast it is spring-like. Like Wyoming. :)

At least you won't see the fury that those storms showed Jefferson City. :(

Ensconsed on the East Coast my geography predicts no major storms.
    Not enough level space.

We had a little rain yesterday, and while watching the local news something struck me as funny: All the local newscasts show videos viewers have sent in--of rain. Seriously.

They also always stick some unlucky reporter (and camera person) out in the rain to show us that, you know, it's raining.

(If you're lost, here's the backstory: I'm a native Angeleno, but I lived in three other states before returning to SoCal for good in 2006. I lived through hurricanes (Florida) and tornadoes (in Tornado Alley, Dallas), with their torrential downpours and flooding. A gentle rain that lasts a few minutes is not newsworthy...to me.)

Monday and Tuesday I received 4.67 inches of rain here at the house. All of the low lying areas flooded some and naturally it was a bit wet to mow my lawns. Yesterday it was beautiful with temps in the mid seventies and lots of blue sky. Today was overcast with rain in the forecast. It rained North and South of me but only a trace here so far. More rain tomorrow and Saturday with eight of the next ten days with a good chance. I'm tired of it already.

Well, because as we all know, it never rains in southern California.

Yesterday was like that old joke: "If yo don't like the weather, wait five minutes"

Currently in Amarillo Texas. Current temperature is 64 degrees, not bad, what is bad is the fog. It goes from a light mist to this extremely thick fog that's creating poor driving conditions. Sometimes you just have to pull over and wait mother nature oit

Almost 17 inches of rain so far this month and it's raining. I had to make a mad dash from the cabin this morning because the river came up over night and was rising. Had to traverse a 100 yards or so of river that had breached the road in there and flowing though the fields. Feels good to be home. Picture is taken from my deck towards the river.

Another inch and a half of rain over night. It's not raining now... for a pleasant change, but it's still overcast. Nice day all in all with a gentle breeze and temps in the mid seventies. The ground feels like you are walking on a saturated sponge. :(
