Took a while to get this uploaded. The problem with this storm isn't the amount of snow, it is that half the snow is in the trees weighing it all down.

While it's understandable why the power situation is what it is there, it's more impressive that most trees stay upright under that kind of load.

We had a heavy wet snow on Halloween a few years back, before all the leaves had fallen. We had more power outages from that then super storm Sandy.

So yeah, is this a record of some sort? How many nor'easters can you have in a 2 week period?

Looks like my weather folk have settled somewhere in the 3-6" range. I'm done though, done I say!

My part of Boston went underground with powelines or they just cut down the trees threatening them. Cable connections are what I worry about. WiFi is cheaper but if your router goes down...
I need to get back to a carrier plan.

Assuming you also stocked up on eggs, French toast. Duh. Make all you can and freeze it, unless you lose power, then you're screwed.

What is wrong with you? We are getting SNOW, another downright nor'easter. Buy less. You have to be kidding, it's time for panic and stocking up on toilet paper, milk, bread and anything else you can grab before someone else does. I am seriously questioning your knowledge of the east coast and how to live here. Shheeeese!

And don't forget, when the shelves are stripped of bread eggs and milk, buy ANYTHING just to fill up your cart. I've got 36 cans of sauerkraut and 50 lbs. of cat litter to prove it (and I don't have a cat!)
