Meanwhile, in the good old UK:
Have you seen my username?
And don't forget, when the shelves are stripped of bread eggs and milk, buy ANYTHING just to fill up your cart. I've got 36 cans of sauerkraut and 50 lbs. of cat litter to prove it (and I don't have a cat!)
See. they know how to do it right!
This is no time for nonchalance my friend. I can't stress this enough, we are getting SNOW in the northeast!!
Oh my gosh, it snowed for like 5 minutes and it's 35°!!!
No lie, I usually go to the store at the height of the storm because I don't have to people. Even the produce section is wiped out.
I don't know what this storms name is. We haven't been formally introduced.
They should name the storms like Android releases. Storm "KitKat" doesn't sound too threatening does it?
Nor'easters are just a weather thing that happens. Like Cyclones.
Hence the need to panic, Bobby, panic!!
Read it again.
I was assigned to sit through a hurricane in Homestead, FLA.
bobby, don't panic!
Naming snow storms is stoopid!!!
I just read the first paragraph about our 3rd Nor'easters in two weeks in The Boston Globe Metro section.
Naming a punny storm like this would be Stoopid.
"Skylar"? Sound's like an over-privileged trust fund brat. I think ALL Nor'easters should be called "Norman".
Since we have folks that use metric and imperial measurements and too avoid confusion, I'll report that the depth of snow here has reached one beagle belly.
Only 11 more hours of snow.
Results are in, 1 1/2 beagle's worth of snow today.
Here in Reno
I've always wondered why people on the left side bought parkas. Now I know.
6 days from the first day of spring ... it was 24°F this morning. Last month (Feb 21st) we hit 81°F.
It's not spring yet!
What do you mean? It starts April 1st
About 9" of snow later, the sun is out and it's going to be in the mid 30's.
