Whatsapp (again)

Right guys i'll try keep this short. Just came over from a Iphone 5S to an Xperia Z3. Girlfriend has a 4S and whatsapp worked fine between the 2 phones. Now when i send her a message the notification area at the top of the iphone shows only that the message comes from my number +4407******** and not my name but when she opens the app my message is there under my name. Not sure whos to blame Mr Sony or Mrs Apple. Its seriously starting to do my head in trying to find a fix and keep the good lady happy.

Yes she does mate. The infuriating thing is that the notification comes through at the top of the screen and shows my number and when she unlocks the screen and goes into the app the message is under my name. Bizarre

Sorted it. Must have been the only setting I didn't go into and I feel a right idiot, but I'm gonna tell all. When I went into Whatsapp I clicked on profile and lo and behold instead of my name being there it was my phone number :stupid:
