Help WhatsApp on Sprint HTC eVO 4G NOT free

I have been going round and round with Sprint who has been charging me for International WhatsApp messages to the UK.
Whats App claims this is impossible that messages travel via data connection or WIFI and hence should not be charged to my Sprint act as individual International Messages, but each month I get a charge.Sprint simply says they don't support the app but I contend that somehow SPRINT has to be intercepting g my WhatsApp messages tha I send Do they truly not go out over my 3G or WIFI messaging service and I don't get how this can happen since the message goes to the Whats APP server and then this server sends the message on not SPRINT. Any help or ammunition I can go back to Sprint with?

My husband and I are also having this problem for texts to Egypt. We have also been round and round with Sprint about this. We have decided not to pay the charge (only for these specific texts) until they clear this up, and am sending a letter to Sprint regarding this. What did you do?
