Help When is the S4's next Software Update?

When is the next software update available for the Samsung Galaxy S4? I have heard that KitKat 4.4.4 should arrive this month sometime.

Also, what is the best antivirus for these phones?

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Depending on which version of the Galaxy S4 you have, (see, 29 Galaxy S4 models - know yours?), you may not even receive the Android 4.4.4 update but instead, go to Android 5, (Lollipop), sometime in Q1 of 2015, if the article, "Samsung Galaxy Android 4.4.4 KitKat Update Plans", is correct.

It is interesting to note that apart from a few carrier branded, minority variants, for the U.S.A. there has been no major worldwide roll-out by Samsung for Android 4.4.4 for the Galaxy S5 as yet.

Personally, I just use Clean Master from the Play Store and do not auto update apps without scrutinising them first.
