When will Android 4.3 be available???

Anyone know when Android 4.3 will be released, they said that there is a leaked version for S4. Does anyone know when Android 4.3 will be officially released, which device will be supported and what are the new features with the 4.3 system???

I have heard November, but I have also heard August so who knows.
As far as new exciting features, got me. I have heard it will be a relatively minor update but I have heard there may be something big in it.
I guess we will just have to wait.

Nobody knows for sure. Anything else is speculation. The 4.3 ROM for the galaxy s4 GE has already been leaked, so we pretty much know what the changes will be

Most thought it was coming back at Google IO.

As stated above, it doesn't seem like a robust upgrade from all the leaks and rumors.

But that camera thing would be very welcomed by me. I hate the current circle.

It would be sad if KLP bombs it somehow, like they make it all card based like Google Now, which seems to be the UI they use in apps like Play Store and Gmail lately. Can you imagine a cross breed WebOS and Windows Phone clone? So far Android is the only system which hasn't yet been dumbed down for the noobs

Cards seem fine for multi tasking. But thats it.

Well, imagine most of the customization removed, no widget support, etc. Most operating systems that end up #1 eventually try something new and sadly bomb. I'd just hate to see ours do that, especially since I've grown into it

Windows 8 is just another operating system that got dumbed down. Most I know understand how to operate a computer. Dumbing down would have made more sense in the days of DOS, but a bit late now, even grandma can understand Vista or even Linux. I really don't understand this metro theme that so many are doing now

I think Metro in Win 8 is connected with trying to promote their phone/tablet offerings - get people familiar with the look by forcing on the desktop (it where it's not needed or helpful IMO, but then I prefer a terminal window anyway ;)).

Metro works nicely on a touchscreen, but it's a disaster with a mouse & keyboard. Which is why I have Classic Shell installed, it has a proper start button with cascading menus, and makes Win8 boot to desktop.

Its a disaster on a touchscreen too. Not everyone likes all that beautiful screen taken up by huge icons as if you were using a low resolution monitor from the 1990s. I can only hope Android Key Lime Pie isn't some dumbed down card based nightmare.

No kidding. Is decisions like this and the xbox 180 fiasco that have Microsoft on such a wicked downturn. It's like they don't care what the people want. Oh wait, that's exactly what it is.

As for klp, it wouldn't matter for most people because Samsung and htc and other oems would just put their bloated skin over it. :p

Unless the "bloated skin" ends up being reworked to fit with the metro dumbed down look... It's like MS and others are taking UI design cues from Apple.

Not sure if i understand what this "metro look" means tbh lol. Is it like big over simplified sign-post type interface?

In a way, yes. Like it were designed for folks with poor eyesight. Imagine your app dock being a full-screen grid of four huge icons for commonly used apps. Or just look at a Windows Phone demo

Right. Yeah i had a quick look at my dads Lumia earlier lol. Gorgeous looking phone until you turn the screen on lol :D

P.s. can i go a bit off topic here and ask if WP works the same way as Android in that "free ram is wasted ram"?
