When will overclocking on 2.1 roms be available?

I bought setCPU and it worked great with cupcake roms, but now I can't use it with 2.1 roms like DC2.08.1. I was getting better performance with an overclocked 1.5 rom than I currently am now. Now that a signed 2.1 RUU was leaked does that mean devs will be able to integrate overclocking now?

Notice The "dev rom" status. Not fully functional, but has been clocked up to 768 mhz, I believe...

Howdy All -- just remember, CPU speed is proportional to the power it consumes. More speed equals shorter battery life, in general. Just a little something to keep in mind --- ;)

Is he gonna release for everyone or just those who donated? And I linked the xda site because of the discussion.. Just to get an idea of what it is for those who haven't seen it..

Fresh 2.1.1 is released.

Fresh Toast is still in beta.. after the bugs are worked out it will be released for everyone.

I was just looking through the thread @ xda for 2.1.1 and some of those guys are saying it is faster than fresh toast... I'm going to flash it and try it out

I heard somewhere that it won't come out until the official Sprint 2.1 is out, something to do with not having the kernel. I know that fresh toast is based off a custom kernel, but it seems too buggy to use daily. So let me change my question. About how long after the official Sprint 2.1 comes out will overclocking become available on a fully functioning non-dev 2.1 rom?

I think you are correct about the kernal, and from what i read, an overclock rom will be available after he gets the new kernal... How long... hard to say. He released 2.1.1 not long at all after the leak was released, hopefully it will be similar to that...

The Fresh 2.1.1 is directly from one of the Sprint leaked releases.

and I think that the overclocking will soon be on the Fresh 2.1.*

Just flashed, and mostly set up. Absolutely ripping fast. I have more internal memory than I ever had with my apps installed. Love it so far... Will keep everyone posted

I have felt the same way. I wanted to flash the new damage, just for s+g, but I really like flipz roms... I think I'm going to be super happy with it. I really can't believe how fast it is. It is like a totally different cpu.... It acts like it is clocked for sure (I know its not)
