I can't find a Tools or Downloads app. Where are my downloads on Samsung S7 edge? Not in My Files. Some are there, but not all (My Files) Help please!

Check and see if there is a Download folder in your main memory.

You should have an app preinstalled labeled "My Files". Just tap on that and you will see "Download history" on the page. You also have a search function on the top right hand side of the open window. You can drill down into Device storage and SD card from this page.

Due to a hack on most Samsung phones, any downloaded files of questionable moral value are automatically sent to the Samsung phone belonging to a gentleman (a term very loosely applied) named ironass who stalks this forum.:)

I just don't only like your last post. I love it. Yes ironass is a pervert but let's not discuss it in public.

Find the "My Files" app and tap on it.
In the window that opens up you will see 2 titles – Device storage and SD card (assuming you have an SD card inserted).
Tap on Device storage (Main memory) and a new window will open up that has all your folders. The ones that would be of general interest are: –
Documents – used for storage by most document apps.
Download – where your downloaded files reside.
DCIM – where your screenshots and camera pictures reside.
Pictures – location where other apps place pictures.
Ringtones, Backups, Music, Movies etc. are other folders.

If you have an SD card inserted, tap on it and you will find many similar folders.

Tap on any of these folders and you will see a list of items appropriate for the folder. Tap on any of these items and the phone will give you choices of different apps that will open these items.

    Hope that helps.

You have no idea. Too many examples to list. By the way, like your correction of his name. Removes any ambiguity and confusion with wildlife. Far more appropriate.

Another thing you can typically do that is quicker, is just pull down your notification window from the top of the screen. If you just downloaded a file, it should generate a notification that you can click on to launch the file that you downloaded.

On my Galaxy S7 the 'My Files' Folder is found in my 'Samsung' icon. That is where my downloads go.
