I got the Incipio Feather cases. Got the Grey and Blue ones. Was able to get them at a discount off the normal price so I went ahead and got two.

The Incipio case is fantastic. People don't even realize there is a case on the phone. Love it. Also using a perfectly clear screen protector that I got at the VZW store.

Edit: And I HATE cases on phones.

Ended up purchasing an Otterbox Defender the other day. It has an annoying plastic screen protector that created a gap of air between it and the screen; so I just ripped it out. Love the case so far, great protection. Wonder if it'll cut off wireless charging...

Do you have a Verizon phone? It doesn't show that case available on the site yet and I didn't see it in the Verizon store.

Looks like the other case I ordered, the Poetic Palette one is very much delayed. Taking about a month to get.

I've got one of these pouches too (uk version). My G2 has a TPU gel case on it and the LG G2 pouch I bought with it is too tight a fit with the case on, but with the Note 2 pouch it fits just right. :)

    Hey Everyone,

I'm looking for a very thin unobtrusive TPU case for my LG-G2 from Verizon and i wanted to get some recommendations from some who already have a thin case that they like. Thanks

Not tpu, I dont think, but I have a Incipio Feather and I love it. Very light and thin.

i'll have to check that out, its pretty nice and looks pretty thin to, i truly hate obstructive cases. The only reason i was looking for a TPU case which is almost like a ridged rubbery type case was to not have to worry about scratches on the case itself but this is a very nice one.

Just to add some caution, I was a big fan of the feather until Monday evening when I dropped my phone as I was getting out of my car. It landed on the top (not the screen, but the top, where the noise cancelling mic is) where there is no protection and shattered the screen. So you understand, I am a short person (5'5") and my car is a lowered is300 so at most the phone dropped 2.5 ft.

The crack rendered my phone unusable... And right now a replacement screen is $150 so I ended up getting an insurance replacement.

I now highly recommend a little more case personally, but its your choice obviously... Just sharing my experience for the benefit of others.

I had a TPU from the vzw store and it was way too bulky for me. I ended up getting the Incipio pictured above. I do agree with the last poster, they don't provide as much protection for a fall so its a dice roll in that regard. I just couldn't stomach anything larger.

That picture made me cringe and a few tears rolled down my face. I'll have to keep looking. If anyones ever gotten a phone froma costco "wireless advocate" kiosk, they started giving out these very nice tpu cases with phone purchases.

I had the GS4 and the tpu case barely added any bulk and sustained a fall from about 6 feet to its side, then landed on the screen on concrete ( i was using the flashlight above my head and it slipped out of my hand because i was holding it weird.) It didn't even sustain a scratch, the edges of the case come up above the screen ever so slightly just enough to keep the screen from touching when its face down.

If i could find something like that i would be ecstatic! I'll keep everyone updated.

When it happened, I just stood there in shock for a minute before muttering a few choice words at myself for dropping it. I'll be purchasing a new case in the next few days so I can update as well on my findings.

I have the Incipio case and LOVE it. I do realize that a drop will probably damage the phone, but for laying the phone on bars, etc and not having the back get messed up, I think it is worth it.

PS: I am a hater of all phone cases. This one is just completely invisible to me.

I have heard some good things about the Diztronic TPU case. If anybody has one and could comment on the slim factor or lack thereof, I'm sure the OP would appreciate it.

The incipio feather is indeed a perfect solution for avoiding scuffs and scratches.

I would like to hear about the diztronic as well if someone could chime in.

I just got the Incipio case in black and I love it so far, and I usually hate cases. The phone feels so much more secure in my hand now. Thanks to all in this thread who recommended out.

Well I had to place an overnight order on amazon for a few things yesterday evening, so I added the tudia ultra slim tpu case to that order. I'll report back this evening on it. I also ordered the diztronic, but its shipping USPS 3-5 day so I won't have it until next week.

I need to return my broken phone today, but since I got the Tudia case in I took some side by side pictures of the Incipio feather and Tudia Ultra Slim TPU cases. The second pic is a shot taken across the screen of the G2 with the Incipio on it, and the Tudia encased G2 is sitting right behind it so you can see the difference in height... that black line is it.

Initial thoughts: Tudia is MARGINALLY bigger, almost imperceptible, but it has a full coverage around the edges (what got me with the feather) and a small lip sticking past the screen that would protect it from a faceplant drop onto a mostly smooth surface. However, the Incipio has just the right amount "stick" so it doesn't slide out of your hand, whereas the Tudia back is very slick, so I have to hold it with my pinky under the bottom to keep it from sliding out of my hand when I'm holding it with one hand. There might be another Tudia ultra slim that doesn't have this slick back, but I didn't get that.

Here is the Tudia I ordered - Amazon.com: TUDIA Ultra Slim Melody Series TPU Protective Case for LG G2 (for Verizon ONLY) - Black: Cell Phones & Accessories

I have the diztronic, love it! Not thick at all, yet gives great protection.

Just got my Diztronic 30 minutes ago. Was worried that the cutouts might be missing or not correct but all look fine. And yes, it's lightweight and thin. It's much grippier than the eel-snot slick battery cover.
