really most Apps are less than $3 dollars so are you really finding the ones you want to be so expensive?

And remember that you can try any App for 24 hours and if you uninstall it through the Market you will get an automatic refund, so you can really test things out before you even if they aren't free.

I think you can google places that have the Apps discounted.

There are many apps out there that isn't posted on the Market and AppBrain are are FREE. You just have to search around for what you want or read posts about "best apps" or "free apps". I found quite a few apps that were free and members posted how much they liked it that I gave it a try. Good luck.

Thanks! AppBrain is good one. But like Iphone has a free app a day, developers dropped price only there in a certain day. Is there a smiliar one for Android users?

it depends.. im not really sure of other available websites that can allow u to purchase reduced pricing for apps.. except for maybe www.androidappoftheday.net, like what snailjoyce has already mentioned. Probably you might want to check it out.
