Just got the OTA overnight. Installed it this morning and activated the phone with my standard gmail account. I went to install my apps and my purchased apps aren't listed in My Downloads.

According to the help for Market I should perform a factory reset. Dutifully reset the phone, signed in and still no apps.

    Am I missing something here?

have you searched for the apps that you bought? They might not be in downloads but they should be in the market

Yes. They're in the Market and when I try to install them it tries to charge my credit card again.

When you find them in the market, do they say "Purchased"?

Unfortunately I have never seen this before, but if there are not that many that are doing this, you MAY need to contact the Developer and let them know what happened.

When I click on the app name the button at the bottom says Buy.

Did you save the email receipts when you purchased them?
Can they be apps that had free versions that you were using?
Are you certain you are using the same gmail account?

A lot of questions I know, but even moving to another phone should not make you need to buy them again as long as you are using the same gmail.

I double checked the account I'm using and it is the same one I used before. Luckily I have the receipts for the purchases - I'm going to try to contact the developers. Hopefully they'll take pity on me.

same thing here - I purchased a couple of things when I was logged into one of gmail accounts on my phone (not the main gmail account) and mine aren't showing up either. I've done a factory reset for something else and cleared the cache for the main gmail account, logged into gmail with the account that I purchased the apps through and they still don't show up. When I find them in the market it wants me to buy them again also.
