    Hi,
Was just wondering where the Froyo App2SD (Google's) stores the apps?
I haven't made any separate partition on my SD, for now I'm just going to Settings > Manage applications and clicking "move to SD"...

    Thanks..

Froyo App2SD (Google's) can only store apps to the SD card if the Dev has wrote it in to the App.

I've just had an update for Bar code scanner and that now has permission to store on the SD card.

Thanks my friend, i know this.
I'm presently using the same method, but my question is that I can't find any trace of these apps on the sd card, so where are they?

What guide did you use to install the rom? Are you positive the guide didn't include partitioning the card?

Yes, I didn't partition the card because:
    1. I wanted to make use of Froyo's A2SD, not A2SD+
    2. Because my card is currently only 4 GB and if I partition, I won't have any space left for my music and movies.

check the file size of that folder (maybe the contents are hidden)

Try an app called modinstall its free & can be set up as auto, internal, or external.
your apps get installed where its set for.

Its permissions are d-- which is why you're not seeing anything. The contents were viewable on my PC after mounting the sd card in case you haven't figured this out yourself.

Its interesting that there is a way for permissions to work on a FAT32 volume, I always thought they had to be 777 all the time.
