This actually is (Samsung Galaxy Indulge)
metroPCS... snicker snicker...
MetroPCS doesn't count. lol
I'm sure they meant for verizon and it would have been the first if they didnt take a million years to release the phone lol
we are all so hostile!
Who cares, just release the damn phone.
Why not? Metro has improved a lot in just the last year. This phone is 4G LTE and is an Android smartphone. That means metroPCS takes the title of first LTE smartphone.
You haven't proven that metroPCS hasn't beaten Verizon to punch at offering the first LTE smartphone in the States. You just proved that Verizon's coverage is better.
Isn't metroPCS just a re-seller who bumps off another networks lines? Like Cricket?
No. metroPCS has it's own network. It's home network isn't the best, so it does have roaming agreements.
If Verizon has better coverage that just illustrates that their network is better. Meaning that they have in fact been developing LTE much longer than metrosexualPCS. Meaning that they were first to LTE, and had devices working on LTE first, and that their network pwns metro's. Just because they didn't release a device on the LTE network does not mean that they have not had devices working on that network for quite some time. That is all.
It is probably because no one thinks that metroPCS is actually USING LTE...
Can't watch youtube videos at work so I have no idea what you posted. All I'm doing is posting what the reviews have said about metroPCS and there LTE network. I was just trying to answer your question... I don't really care either way...
Exceptions, exceptions, exceptions. I with the OP.
VZW claims the TB is "the first 4G LTE Smartphone". We can safely assume this means in the US. Based on this VZW is absolutely lying, no if's and's or butt's. MetroPCS may not have fast nor broad coverage (3G nor 4G), heck they may even throttle their 4G LTE data rates but they have the network and have a 4G LTE Smartphone and it has been available and working for some time.
Also, as to the maps posted about those are not 4G maps. The VZW one is 3G.
I'm excited to soon switch over to VZW and get my new TB, that does not mean I can't slam VZW about a pretty big marketing lie.
