I can't seem to find the link. I'm running 2.1v1 and wanted the OTA...but obviously didn't get it.
where is 2.1v3 leak at?

Did you find it? Search for all forums started by Caddyman. It will show up.
If you still can't find it, I will post it into an online files section of mine for you.

I was very patient. I was told it would be 2.1 on December 11th when I bought it on the 3rd of December. Verizon sales associates will say anything to ensure a purchse.

Ahh....Caddy, I downloaded the file from the mirror 3 link ( http://androidforums.com/htc-droid-eris/69688-htc-droid-eris-os-2-1v3-download.html ) and after an excruciatingly long download, a window popped up that said "file invalid or corrupted". Any advice?
use a different browser. opera for instance will attempt to open the zip file and then repack it which is bad bad juju.
I can post it for you in a very safe, secure online file section. Send me a private message.

i'm not. the 1st time i downloaded #2 i couldnt find it on my computer, the 2nd time i clicked 'dont close this window blah blah' and then it popped up and said corrupted. i am really not tech savvy but i managed to pull of the 1st version of the leak so i'm not really sure what's going on here.

I also got the corrupt warning, just ignore it, there is not an issue. Just don't unzip it or rename it, follow the instructions and your good to go.
FYI, I read in the "All Things Root" that someone had said that they were able to load the OTA file instead of the v3. Might be worth a try especially if you would like to root.

Alright, I'm sure this is painful to read for you savvy folks out there...but seriously, I don't know what I'm doing wrong here. I click to download (mirror 2) and it's downloading like normal and then the window disappears and a small windows box says "file corrupted" and then I can't find the file anywhere.
I'm running 2.1v1 and I'll be honest...I don't even know what root means lol.
Can anyone send me the file?
Also, on a side note, will I ever get OTA updates since I leaked?
