Hi Im'new here, and I'm interested in learn to develop for android

but I don't know where to start learning.

I found a course in a local school, here the content:

Module 1: Introduction to mobile technologies
Module 2: Introduction to Java
Module 3: J2ME
Module 4: Developing apps for google android

What do you think about the content?? is it ok??

I wonder if I will need to learn J2ME

I see that some people use flash cs5.5 to develop for android.
Please point me in the right direction

Thanks for your comments

Stay away from Flash under all circumstances. It doesn't work on all Android devices and it will prevent you from porting lateron. And performance is an issue as well... if you want to go down that direction, just use the browser... in other words: learn JS.

As for Java on Android... no idea why they want to teach you J2ME: there's virtually no connection to Android development, aside from it using Java... which you don't actually need on Android.

So the basic questions are: What do you know so far and what do you want to do?
