Does anyone know if the Epic has a stock calendar widget?

I had a stock calendar widget in Moment. I can't find it in Epic.

can't find it on mine either. but i'm using beautiful widget where it lets me customize what application to start when touched on the displayed date (same with clock and weather icon), i have it configured to start the calendar app.

Try Calendar Pad, it's free and it has several widgets. Give it a try, if you don't like it delete it.

If you don't see it on your home screen, then open apps and look for Calendar. Once found, hold your finger down on it, and it will place the widget on your home screen.

That just puts the shortcut to the application, not the widget. Am I missing something?

On the Hero the calendar widget was simple and easy to use. It wasn't cluttered and it looked like it belonged. Most every calendar widget I've seen on the market looks like it's been designed by a first time designer with no regards to integration. I'm truly disappointed by a lack of such a basic feature!

Did you forget the one thing that makes an Android device: The Market? Froyo update might include one too.

I don't understand why they would remove the stock calendar widget from this phone. Very disappointing.

    TouchWiz ain't that great.
