Which android phone for browsing and texting

I`m looking to get my first phone I'm in Canada so a lot of the phones I've read about aren't in stores near me. I want a phone that is good for browsing, casual games, watching videos and texting. Here are some that I've found.

Samsung Gio - $80
Samsung Galaxy 551 - $130
Samsung Galaxy Apollo - $120
LG Optimus One - $100
LG Optimus Chic - $80

My friend has optimus one and its kinda laggy. But maybe it was just his phone. Optimus Chic apparently has some problems too.

If you're referring to THIS Samsung Gio, then I'd go for that as it has the fastest processor among them. However the Optimus One is the only one with a graphics chip. If you can get a Galaxy Ace instead, go for that.
