What the title says. Sure, the internals are truly important, but the exterior still matters.

    My top 3:

    1) HTC Desire Z [T-Mobile G2]
    2) Moto Droid X
    3) Nexus One / Moto Droid (Metal sexiness or robotic epicness? Can't decide.)

What are in your top 3?

From a purely visual standpoint I really like the Captivate with just a small piece of carbon fiber tape over the AT&T logo ;) But overall, I'd have to stick with my Nexus. With its clean, sleek gunmetal grey exterior and flush bezel, The N1 has an industrial symmetry to its design. Less so, the Desire which I think is proportionally compromised by the hardware buttons. More importantly (at least for me) it feels solid and extremely comfortable in hand or pocket.

Incredible? Really, it has no industrial design whatsoever. The extruding lens is a design flaw if you wear it with a glove.

The Captivate is gorgeous and so is the Nexus One.

I like the battery cover and the overall layout of the front. A design flaw has nothing to do with my opinion of which phone looks the best ;) but i will agree with you that it was a dumb move to make it stick out like that. Mine is already dented up from a couple drops

i also like the looks of the eris and the ally. not too big a fan of the droid x and especially not the droid 2... don't care much for the navy blue color
