Recently my battery has got alot worse guys.
I have downloaded a number of widgets and apps...is this the reason??
Im using Tajm, BattStatt, 3g Watchdog, DroidStats, Internal and external memory notifications, retro clock.
Ive got all of these as widgets spread out over the 7 screens.
Also guys if your phone was not used all day and locked how much battery would you say would get used??
    Thanks guys

I recommend Systempanel (paid version) it gives you a per app CPU usage history allowing you to identify where your juice is going.

Look under other and partial usage, and set to since unplugged.

Partial wake usage shows media top saying 7minutes 10secs. Other usage shows ; running 28.5% screen on 28.1 and wi fi on and wi fi running 18.5 each. That's coz I'm on my phone now. Phones bin on an hour and is down 20 percent battery. Ive been browsing and downliaded 2 apss. Any ideas? I dnt fully understand how to tell from spare parts.

As far as I'm aware that means that media was/is preventing your phone from sleeping. What media is it?

The media usage that is coming up is when I use the app store. Does this drain everyone's battery even if just browsing

and also all my widgets are taking a long time too update.
Tajm and retro clock and battstatt etc are all taking about 20 seconds to get the time right on their different screens

Maybe try watchdog lite as that is supposed to identify rogue apps. It might be worth a try, hope you find a solution soon :) let us no if you sort the problem as I am very interested in knowing the name of any apps that cause these sort of problems.

Hi Jason, I have tried to get SystemPanel, but it seems to be impossible. The market can't find it, no use trying with AppBrain. I'm in Denmark on Danish 3. HTC Desire, Froyo 2.2. Can someone please help me.

SystemPanelLite Task Manager - Android app on AppBrain This is the link for the lite version. I don't see why it shouldn't be available where you are.

Edit: This is the full version referred to in the original post SystemPanel App / Task Manager - Android app on AppBrain

In Battery History, my Running is 20%, whereas Screen on is only 6.5%.

After checking SystemPanel, Watchdog and a few other apps, im consistently getting Android System as the max resource user.

    Non rooted Desire

-Only gmail is set to push, weather updates once daily. Everything else manual refresh
-widgets are Battstatt, beautiful widgets, Calwidget, Meridian Music Player, 3g Watchdog, Astrid tasks.
    -Using LauncherPro(free ver)
    -Wifi, GPS toggled manually

How do i check whats chewing resources within the Android system? Ive tried calibrating the battery, but it doesnt seem to work for me, and i get 4197 volts after a full charge that lasts me about a day.

the battery should theoretically last a lot longer, but ....

    Would appreciate any inputs. Thanks

I know the Facebook widget constantly uses the network, which killed my battery. For some reason Sprint's visual voicemail app was doing causing the same issue as well as the app GTasks. After that my android system percentage went down. Just trying to solve this media partial wake usage. I turned off my phone, took out the sd card and so far the media bar isn't even showing up in my partial wake. Only Android System And TiKL.

okay I was having a same problem, infact my 100 % of Samsung Galaxy with a full charging was discharged in 1 hour 15 mins, and I guess its the PUSH service of appBrain and also I think it was lockout since they both remain in background continously and monitor and/or connect to internet, check if uhave any of these two
