I was reading about the stock browser storing screen shots on the phone. Someone recommended using Dolphin.

So which Dolphin browser do people use? Dolphin, Dolphin HD, or Dolphin License?

    Thanks.

FYI: Dolphin License is not a browser and won't do anything unless you have Dolphin loaded. It's listed as an independent app for sale, but it is just a license that removes ads from Dolphin.

I have Dolphin HD, the stock browser, Opera Mini and Skyfire loaded to play with, but I use Dolphin HD almost exclusively.

Is it worth getting the license? How bad are the ads? BTW I don't have my DI yet? Backordered! :(

Dolphin HD has an ad on called screen cut that will capture the screen and you can save to your sd card.

This is actually done on the web page side, not on your phone. Basically, their site detects what browser you are using and display the site appropriately.

Unfortunately, many mobile versions of sites suck.

Agreed here. Blue theme is sexy and I don't notice ads at all.

Dolphin HD is very nice. It's the only browser I use.

Well, guess I was wrong. I was wondering if there was a way to report using a different browser. Thanks!

Regular Dolphin is for anything pre 2.1. Dolphin HD is for 2.1 and above.

Just grabbed this browser based on this thread, thanks guys... it's awesome. The tip to view pages in desktop porn is perfect! I wish you could set so that it loads certain pages to the mobile version (the ones that are decent) and certain pages to desktop.

A few questions... What's with the finger watermark on the bottom left of the screen? Can you disable it? Is there a way to uninstall the stock browser or could you simply rename the dolphin app as "internet"?

you click on the icon to enable it, then go to settings on the right i believe, then you can hide the icon.

not sure if you can completely turn off the gestures thing though, i dont ever use it.

but having the icon gone will make it seem like it's not even there anyways.

I use Dolphin too, great browser. I didnt get the last update though cuz it disables your ability to download YouTube videos. That's what I love about it. :D

look for ad block plus in market. Only works for dolphin and its awesome on pc with FireFox. The ad on is still beta but is essential for any ad haters
